What we do

From a product on a shelf to a parcel at a door.

We are an online retailer. We choose what to sell, build the shop that sells it, answer the customer who buys it and stand behind the order until it arrives — or until it is refunded. This page sets out each of those steps and what a customer can expect from us at each one.

Choosing the range

Each brand we run sells a defined category of physical goods — apparel and accessories, homeware, personal-care devices and similar consumer products. We pick a range, agree terms with suppliers who can manufacture and dispatch it reliably, and check samples before a product goes on sale.

A product listing describes the item that will actually be shipped. The photographs show that item, the materials and measurements are the supplier's, and where a size runs differently from the market norm we say so on the page rather than leaving the customer to find out.

Running the storefront

We build and maintain each shop ourselves — the catalogue, the checkout, the delivery options, the policy pages and the content on every page in between. Each storefront is written in the language of the market it serves, with prices shown in that market's currency, inclusive of the taxes that apply at checkout.

Before a customer pays, the shop shows the total they will be charged, the delivery cost, the expected delivery window, the right to cancel or return, and the identity of the company selling to them. Nothing material is held back for after payment.

Delivery

Orders are dispatched by the suppliers we work with and carried by national postal services and commercial couriers. The carrier and the expected transit time are named in each storefront's delivery policy, and tracking is provided where the chosen service supports it.

Delivery estimates are estimates. When a shipment runs beyond the window we published, the customer can ask us to cancel it and we refund, regardless of where the parcel happens to be.

Customer service

Every storefront publishes an email address that reaches us. We aim to answer within one business day. Questions about an order are best sent to the storefront the order was placed with, because that is where the order record sits.

Returns are handled under the policy published by the storefront, and under the statutory rights of the customer's country where those give more. A customer in the European Union has fourteen days to withdraw without giving a reason; a customer in the United Kingdom has the equivalent right; the Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply to customers in Australia. We do not require a customer to accept store credit in place of a refund they are entitled to in money.

Advertising

We plan, produce and buy the advertising that brings customers to our storefronts, mainly on search and social platforms. We are responsible for what those adverts say.

An advert states the offer that the shop actually honours. A price in an advert is the price at checkout. A discount in an advert is applied without a code unless the advert says otherwise. We do not run adverts about health outcomes, financial results or anything else we could not substantiate, and we do not use a person's image or testimony without their agreement.

In practice

What a customer can hold us to

These commitments apply across every storefront this company operates.

A named seller

Takeover Enterprises LLC is named in the legal pages of every storefront we run, with the registered address and an email that reaches us.

The price you were shown

The total at checkout is the total that was advertised. We do not add a charge at the last step that was not disclosed earlier.

A real return window

The return period published on a storefront is honoured, and the refund goes back to the payment method it came from.

An answer

Emails reach a person. If a problem takes longer to resolve, we say so and keep the customer informed rather than going quiet.
