Cookie Policy

1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, device fingerprinting — do much the same job by other means. Where the law speaks of cookies it generally means all of them, and so do we on this page.
2. What this site does
Nothing is written to your browser's storage by this site. Specifically:
- no first-party or third-party cookies;
- no local storage or session storage;
- no analytics, heatmaps or session recording;
- no advertising or conversion pixels, including none from Meta, Google or TikTok;
- no content embedded from another domain. The fonts and stylesheets are served from this site, so viewing a page here does not reveal your visit to anyone else.
Your visit does appear in our hosting provider's server logs, which record the IP address and the page requested. That is not a cookie and it is not used to track you between sites. The Privacy Policy explains what those logs contain and how long they are kept.
3. The shops we operate are different
The online shops run by this company are separate websites, and they do use cookies, because a shop cannot work without them. Typically they use:
- Strictly necessary cookies — to keep your basket, remember your language and currency, and secure the checkout. These do not require consent, because the shop cannot function without them.
- Analytics cookies — to count visits and see which pages are read.
- Advertising cookies — set by advertising platforms to measure whether an advert led to a purchase.
Where the law requires consent for the second and third kinds — in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom under the ePrivacy rules — our shops ask for it before those cookies are set, and record your choice so you are not asked again on every page. You can change or withdraw that choice from the cookie settings link in the shop's footer. Each shop publishes its own cookie policy naming the cookies it actually sets, and that policy governs your visit there, not this page.
4. Controlling cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored, delete them, and block new ones. The controls sit under Settings, usually labelled Privacy or Site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop checkouts working on most shops, including ours.
Browsers also carry broader signals. We respect the Global Privacy Control signal where it is legally binding, and we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing for visitors in jurisdictions that recognise it.
5. Changes
If this website ever starts using cookies — for example if we add a contact form or analytics — we will update this page before that happens, and will ask for consent where consent is required. The date at the top tells you when this page last changed.
